When Bill Clinton was president, he did some things that were so outrageous, so disgusting that if you dared mentioned them - people thought YOU were disgusting! Well, a similar thing is happening now with Obama. He is contemplating policies that are so insane, so ludicrous, so - dare I say fascist? that if you tell people about them they think you're insane, ludicrous and fascist! (I bet some of my facebook friends will cancel their friendship with me just upon reading this headline - because they'll think I'm insane, ludicrous and fascist for posting this)!
If you tell people the Obama government wants to control the temperature in your house they will think YOU'RE crazy! But check this out... it's really true. US News and World Report - reports that Carol Browner, who Obama has chosen as his senior adviser for Energy and "Climate Change", says that the government will work with the power companies to CONTROL the temperature in your home. Browner says:
"Eventually, we can get to a system where an electric company will be able to hold back some of the power so that maybe your air conditioner won't operate at its peak..."So, the government is going to create a system whereby the electric company will not allow my air conditioner to operate at its peak? The government is going to decide that for the "common good" it's better for me to sit and sweat in my apartment, than to enjoy the nice dry cool of the AC I PAID THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS FOR! They better do this in January and not July, that's all I have to say!Â
They called Bush a fascist because he tried to protect us from terrorists (which he did quiet well by the way), but I don't remember Bush ever interfering with my personal rights, or my right to privacy and the right to live my life the way I choose inside my own home. So, they're not going to call the controlling of the temperature in our own homes fascist? This is almost the very definition of fascism.Â
