 Several prominent scientists have said they believe that global warming reached its peak around 1999-2000. Most global warming enthusiasts laugh at this assertion, however new information from the National Climatic Data Center shows that April, 2008 was the coldest April in 11 years. The average temperature in the U.S. in April was 51F degrees. That figure is one degree cooler than the average April temperature for the entire 20th century.
